Baritone soloist -  Beethoven's Ninth, January 2022

Hector Bloggs is an English Baritone currently on the undergraduate Classical Vocal Studies Course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Last year Hector won first place in the 2021 Courtney Kenny Award from the Association of English Singers & Speakers.  Recent engagements include performing Marco in Gianni Schicchi (G. Puccini) with St Pauls Opera and Bartolo in Le Nozze Di Figaro (W.A. Mozart) with Saluzzo Opera Academy and Hampstead Garden Opera as well as covering the role of Marquis de Pictordu in Cendrillon (P. Viardot) for St Pauls Opera (English Translation).  Future engagements include Sid in Albert Herring (B. Britten) at GSMD in May 2022 and the title role in Don Giovanni (W.A. Mozart) when he returns to the Saluzzo Opera Academy in summer 2022.  Hector also sings repertoire outside of Classical music and will be performing in the Guildhall American Songbook Project in March.
