HACKNEY SCHOOLS SING

Hackney Schools Sing invited young people from the Borough and surrounding areas to join together for a day to sing alongside our professional orchestra, Wyatt Sinfonia, and talented vocal soloists. It was a jam-packed day with rehearsals led by professional singers, Lydia, Lucy, Angelo and Ollie, and Wyatt Sinfonia's Artistic Director, Zoë Kundu, and an insightful Q&A with our orchestra members. The result was a thrilling concert performance of Karl Jenkins' Symphonic Adiemus in front of an audience of family, friends and the local community.

Where: EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney)

 

Our singers came from the following schools and organisations: City of London Academy Shoreditch Park, Hackney Choral, Hackney New Primary School, Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy, The Urswick School and Wapping High School. Thank you to all schools and staff for their support in their pupils' involvement.
