Alexandra is a scholar at the Royal Academy of Music, she studies with Catherine Wynn Rogers, and has additionally received teaching this year from Jean Rigby and professional coaching from Marek Ruszczynski.

As a soloist Alexandra has competed nationally at music festivals across the country winning the Marjorie Thomas award for ‘Most Promising Singer’ at Burton on Trent Competitive Vocal festival and the ‘Young Voice of the Year’ at Litchfield Festival of Music and Drama.

Alex has found many chamber music opportunities in London, performing a selection of guitar transcribed Schubert Lieder, with additional coaching from Cristoph Denoth, singing in chamber choir concerts in St Marylebone Parish Church and as a chorus member in a London conservatoires production of the Marriage of Figaro.

Having trained with an international youth choir, competing in BBC choir of the year, Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod and international Jersey festival of music and drama, Alexandra has been keen to continue her love of choral singing alongside her solo training.  In upcoming concerts she will be performing Schoenberg’s Gurrelieder with the Philharmonia Voices, conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen, performed at Bascilica de Saint Denis in Paris and the Royal Festival Hall. Most recently Alexandra played the role of second lady in Cavatina Opera’s production of The Magic Flute.
